How's My Holiday Going?

Hello!
Well, the post's title is a question for me...from me.
Okay, I'll answer that...
So, remember that I once told you guys that I went to Semarang?
Well, there, I slept at my friend's house...I didn't follow my father's choice for a sleeping spot which would be a hotel.
And our purpose of going to Semarang was to find my uncle there, which went to Semarang from Jakarta.
Later on, he followed my family to Yogyakarta.
Going back to the time when I was at Semarang...my friend and I played our DS consoles together...we used the multiplayer function, a staple for all consoles nowadays.
We played Mario Kart DS and New Super Mario Bros. at that time.
Unlike my cousin, which likes to gang up when playing Mario Kart DS, my friend at Semarang is very competitive -- he didn't gang up with me.
If he were to gang up at Mario Kart, he would gang up with the AI, which he did do.
I also played Mario Party...I think.
Oh, we also played Pokémon at that time...he used Pokémon Black, if I remember correctly...and I used Pokémon Black 2.
We first battled with each other and I won.
Afterwards, we tried the Pokémon Musical, which was a highly criticized feature, because it isn't so great, when compared with the old Pokémon (Super) Contests, which is similar.
My friend actually likes it...and whenever we play together, he would always get the better comments, signifying his superior dress-up skills.
And then, going to the time when my uncle and his family went to Yogyakarta with us...
My father recommended him some great food spots at Yogyakarta and we visited them to eat there.
I obtained some pictures of the food I ate, which I'll show to you guys later on.
Well, aside from my uncle and his family's personalities, I wouldn't say anything else about this.
I'll just leap to the things that happened yesterday...along with things that happened today.
So...me and my family departed from Yogyakarta to Surabaya yesterday and we arrived today in the morning, before 6 AM (WIB)...we came ~30 minutes earlier.
Me and my mother & father are staying at my grandmother's house...she's my mother's mother...my father's mother's already deceased and there's nothing that I know about her.
I played with my cousin that I like as a playmate...man, things are awesome with him!
I visited his house and I just got back from his house.
I played my DS with him, just like what I did with my friend at Semarang...that's my favorite activity when I'm with him.
I played Mario Kart, Mario Party and New Super Mario Bros. with him...yep, them Mario games...they sure pack a punch when you're talking about fun.
I also played Mario Sports Mix and Mario Kart using the Wii at his house, but the DS games were much better.
Oh yeah, at the time when we played the DS games, my cousin's sister also played along...she also played Mario Kart Wii with me, but I quit playing after a single match...I got bored.
And we visited Pasar Atum, a little place to go shopping...it's a bit similar to a mall, but it follows the traditional road of running the place, since it was made to be a market.
I played Mario Kart there too with my cousins...I also faced their mother.
When I faced my cousins and their mother in a battle, I kept winning...probably   all the racing by playing Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX+ gave me some mean driving skills?
I actually have a data card for Mario Kart (two cards, each for two different versions of Mario Kart), but I never used it at Yogyakarta, since Timezone at Plaza Ambarrukmo doesn't have it, but Studio 21 (a theater to watch movies) has an arcade center with Mario Kart in it.
Okay then, I guess I'm done talking about the things that have happened in my holiday...so I'll post my pictures!
Okay, this is a picture of some noodles that I ate at Mie Ceker, which is at Yogyakarta.
Here's its Foursquare page...right here.
You should try it sometime if you're at Yogyakarta...it's a good place.
This is a place to eat food that originated from Banjar, an Indonesian location.
The place is nearby my friend's house...remember, the movie star one?
The place's name is Kindai and its Foursquare page is right here.
It's also a good place in Yogyakarta.
This is some seafood that I ate at Semarang when I went there.
I can't link anyone to the place using Foursquare because I forgot the place's name.
This is another thing that I ate at Semarang...it's durian ice cream with some durian fruit pieces.
I also can't link anyone to this place...
Okay...these foods are from a place called Mahkota.
They are Chinese-oriented...
Its Foursquare page would be right here...go there sometime, the place is good!
Now this is a place called Mang Engking, a great place for seafood.
We came here after going to Sendangsono.
At the time when me, my family, my uncle and his family ate there, the vegetables that my family ordered made some trouble...it's made of raw vegetables which would pose a risk of some troubles for one's stomach...and y mother and father did get some trouble later on.
I also got afflicted with some trouble, but I don't think that my stomach problem's caused by the vegetables, since I didn't even eat a single bit.
But even though my mother and father got some troubles after eating there, don't let it be a cause to refuse to go to Mang Engking, because it might just be a one-time accident, since those stuffs happen, right?
Here's the Foursquare page...just like all the others...it's right here.
And for the photos right here...I took these at Mang Engking too.
Me, my mother and my cousin (my father's side) fed the fishes and that resulted in a fight for food amongst the fishes...and these photos are photos of the fight.
Man, fishes would do anything for food, huh?
Well, I do have two more photos, but sadly, those can't be sent to my aunt's MacBook Air, which is the thing that I'm using to post this post...so, I'll just pull this post's plug...thanks, goodbye and have a nice day!

A Combo Of Activities!

Hello!
Uh...the blog's been dead for some time.
I wanted to post a post for quite some time, but I was lazy...I had a lot of activities, which I'll talk about.
I have some pictures that I wanna post, but it's in my Nintendo DSi XL and I didn't take them out.
Besides, I'm writing this post using my mother's new Samsung Galaxy Note II, which I'll talk about later on.
That's why I can't post them now...but I'll do so when I can.
And I'm literally writing this post!
Uh...let's just go to a view of what happened a week ago...
So, ten days ago, I attended an awesome party.
Well, it's a birthday party for a movie star that's actually a friend of mine at school!
She's not a very famous movie star, but she starred in an Indonesian movie, Soegija.
Her role was a girl with the name Ling Ling...well, she didn't know much about acting and I don't know how the movie came out -- I didn't watch it, since my family thinks that ALL Indonesian movies are a disaster and I'm following the family stereotyping behavior.
Regarding the fact that she became a movie star, I was jealous, like, who doesn't wanna be a movie star?!
But I've gotten out of that.
Anyways...the party had some games, lead by...my former teacher?!
Yep, that was surprising...then there was a Gangnam Style dance-off...it was crazy, I loved it.
And then, there were some water games held at her pool.
Yep, like the hotel that I'm living in, there was a pool, but it was smaller than the hotel's pool.
Well, my weight made me impossible to join in the games.
Man, that ruined the awesomeness, but I didn't wanna ruin the birthday girl's day, so...fine, I just took the fact that I just can't participate...with a broken heart.
But that didn't get rid of the fact that it was an awesome party.
At the end of the party, I obtained a little doll that could stick to a flat surface...I don't know what that's called, along with a cupcake, but I refused to take it, because the cupcake's topping smells like Play-Doh...
Then, at another day, I found out that my mother will get a Samsung Galaxy Note II, which is the exact thing that I'm using to write this post.
At first, I didn't accept the fact with open arms, because I actually want a phone myself.
I actually have the device, all that's needed to make a phone, well, a phone, is a SIM card.
Going back to accepting this sudden fact...now, I've accepted the fact.
And three days ago, I went to a steak restaurant, which I would rarely go to, since steak is pretty expensive.
I went there with my mother's new friend, an Australian person that isn't completely Australian that wants to play the beautiful game for Indonesia.
And two days ago, me and my family went to Semarang.
We hitched a ride to go there...My father's friend's ride.
He actually also wanted to go to Semarang, so Wynaut?
(A little pun fun won't hurt, right?)
We did this 'cause my father's car, the Nissan Navara...its latest modifications, a GPS system & a camera...they can't seem to work together when they should.
Well, I guess that I should pull the...wait!
One day, my family's hotel rooms had a smell that shouldn't be in a hotel -- the smell of durians.
My mother said that it smells like LPG...if it was LPG, we would need to find a  solution -- fast.
My father & I said that it's the smell of durians and we were right -- someone caught a guest that brought durians.
Well, I guess I don't need to say anything again.
Thanks, goodbye and have a nice day!

Some Ordinary Stuff That Happened...

Hello!
Well, I'll just say something about these photos...

I ate at Parsley Restaurant a few days ago and me and my family...like, we ordered that porridge, the one on top.
This is Parsley Bakery's website, right here.
This is the only thing we've got, but still...
Parsley's a brand for a bakery and a restaurant...
If you're at Yogyakarta, you should come over.
And the two other pictures?
Those were some food that was cooked by the cook of Jogjakarta Plaza Hotel...and it was a random dish, there's nothing like it in the menu.
Here's the link for the hotel...right here!
If you're visiting to Yogyakarta, go and take a room there!
It's a great place...there are other hotels that are new and fancy and the hotel craze is building here...
But this place would be great too!
Well, for today...something weird happened.
See, I have an unofficial DSi charger, made for Asian power outlets...
They're different from the US power outlets, that's why I bought this.
Anyways, when the original charger that came with the DSi XL gets connected to an adapter converter...
(I bought a US version, but it was said to be defective when it was first made, so a third-party company fixed it up.)
It wouldn't charge, because the voltages would be different...and it wasn't supposed to work with such converters.
Well, going back to the unofficial charger...it broke down today.
I tried plugging it anywhere around the rooms and it wouldn't charge the DSi XL.
So I tried the official one...with a converter.
I've already said that it won't work with it, but I still did it...at that time, I didn't know that it's the problem...the fact that I can't use a converter.
So, well, since both can't work...NOT!
The official one still works, I just need a US adapter, but we're in Indonesia, that can't happen!
But it still works, my father found out the solution...the solution's...
Charging it in the bathroom.
That's a bit absurd, isn't it? xD
But it still works, because the hotel's bathroom (probably only the old rooms) has a hair dryer that has a US power outlet with two different voltages -- 110V and 230V.
Like, that doesn't sound like the right place, especially when you'd look at the DSi XL operational manual and the text on the hair dryer regarding those outlets -- "SHAVERS ONLY".
But my father stated that 110V outlets are the same with 120V outlets -- which is the perfect one for a DSi XL's charger.
I think that the 10-volt difference doesn't affect the charging process, but my mother just stated that it might just make the charge duration longer.
Well then...I'll just charge in the bathroom now, then! xD
What's with the "xD"?
Well, the whole idea sounds strange, right?
That's why.
Well then, I guess this is it...I have nothing more to point out...wait!
I'd just say that my final exams will end tomorrow...great!
Like, a few days ago, the Mathematics exams that came from the government really stressed me out -- the questions were hard!
But tomorrow, I have a challenge to face -- the Javanese language.
Yep, tomorrow's exams are exams for the Javanese language!
This is bad...I'm not good at it!
But I guess I'll just go with it, since this is what happens every time...a bad grade at a Javanese language test.
If it were the Java language, I might just make the grade (since I've never learned that)...but the Javanese language?
No way, Jose.
The grades wouldn't be satisfying...
It's just because I've been ignoring the teachings from the Javanese language teacher.
All because of my perfectionist system...
This is the same thing as the Chinese language...I'm failing it every time because of the same reason.
It's because I didn't keep track of those languages in the earlier times...
Because of that, like, I'd be sure that I wouldn't know a thing about those languages if I can't get the basics right, so okay, I'll ignore the next teachings.
I only wanna learn again if I'd start from zero.
But it's pretty bad to do so, knowing that there are exams right, left and center regarding those two problematic languages.
I guess there aren't people who are on the same page...NOT!
I have some friends that can't ace those two languages like me, too.
Most of them are boys...man, we seem to be so embarrassing in terms of grades!
All the girls are great people in terms of grades...
I guess we're always the underdogs, but maybe athletics are the best things about us.
But I'm an exclusion, I'm the worst at athletics, 'cause I'm the biggest one in this class and the whole school (save for the junior high school ones, they might be bigger)...in terms of weight.
But I guess people have their advantages.
And everyone's like really social...there are only a few people who are in the same boat as me...being people who are mostly people who just don't wanna follow with the crowd.
And right now, I don't have a certain idea of what to type...so, well...this is it, thanks, goodbye and have a nice day!

Yet Another View Of Activity...

Hello!
Well, my posts are always about personal activity, isn't it?
Yup, I've never posted anything about my thoughts on something...
Anyways, I'm posting about what happened a few days ago, like my old post...
So, at the day when I initially posted the last post, 2 December 2012, I was asked to take some food home.
But I didn't bring home noodles.
Instead, I brought a different food.
And on to what's currently happening...
The final exams.
Yep, I'm having my final exams for this semester.
I've finished the practical exams, this is the real deal.
Like, I've just passed two days of final exams.
The first day had religion exams.
The second day, which is today...
It had exams for...um, I can't seem to say it normally.
Let's just say that the whole exam had stuff about Indonesia.
Well, the next day's gonna have stuff regarding other countries and other continents.
Man, that's gonna be a lot of data.
It's called Social Studies here and I guess that other countries know of it as the same thing.
But about other countries and other continents and the like...is that geography I'm studying?
Anyways, I guess the post has come to an end, thanks, goodbye and have a nice day!
Oh, and a little update, I also registered for the 2012 VGCS Winter Battle.
A Pokémon tournament held through Wi-Fi, it isn't played in real life.
If it were, I wouldn't join, because all VGCs that are held in real life...they're not here in Indonesia!
Even if they were, it would be in Jakarta!
Not in Yogyakarta...
I don't really think that I can ace the competition...
I can't ace the competitive battling scene, so I guess that's the same in the VGC battling scene.
Anyways, I also have something to put out...like, why are all the BIG events held in Jakarta?
Like, they should come and visit Yogyakarta sometime!
Something else, what's with Pokémon events?
They never appear in Indonesia!
Official events never show up...
Like, Singapore's got one, we should too.
It's probably because the fans here aren't a lot...
But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't get any events.
Like, there's still some Pokémon fans here.
And maybe they shouldn't just come to Jakarta...
Then everyone gets a share of the Pokémon fun!
See?
Like, all the BIG events are at Jakarta, that isn't very fair.
We also want such events...
Especially if it's Pokémon we're talking about!
Maybe someone can start a competition here?
Like, someone probably has, but I'm talking about official events that are linked to a league season.
I'd love to get in and try to win using some events I have.
Anyways, I think I'm done with the rant, I guess this is the real goodbye...
Thanks, have a nice day and goodbye!

Things That Happened...

Hello!
Well, I'll talk about what happened a few days ago...
Like, there was one time when there was someone that tried to stab my shoulder with a pin...
Like, he's actually in the same school as me and he came into the school a year after my debut there.
It's all because I borrowed a book that he wanted.
Talk about a serious grudge!
And I got a new haircut...
At the same day, I played at Timezone in my favorite mall which is commonly shortened to Amplaz -- a portmanteau of the real name of the mall.
And so, the name has two words...it's obvious, because portmanteaus need two words.
Oh yeah, here's the website link for both locations...Timezone and Amplaz.
Like, they're popular in Yogyakarta.
Come and visit sometime!
Oh, and Timezone's everywhere, it seems.
Its locations are dotted around Asia and Australia.
Plus, Amplaz is actually Plaza Ambarrukmo, the latter's the real name, the former's the portmanteau made to shorten the name.
It's the biggest mall in Yogyakarta, so go there if you're visiting Yogyakarta.
I played my favorite game, "Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX+" and got a new title, "Wild taste".
You should try it sometime if you live in a place that has it...
It's fun to play!
Here's the website if you'd like to know about it...right here!
And I was challenged by a person...he challenged me to play in the Nagoya and Osaka course.
I actually won both challenges, then he didn't challenge me again.
Anyways, I didn't really want to be in a real-life battle.
And I went to a little place nearby Parangtritis Beach.
It was full of sand...I have no idea what would it be called...
I just can't find out...
I came there with my father's friends, who all used pick-up trucks.
There were three or four Nissan Frontiers...
(It's known as Nissan Navara here, and the amount includes my father's Nissan Navara)
There was one Chevrolet Colorado...
There was a Toyota Hilux...but there could have been two, I forgot.
And there were Ford Rangers.
We finished the meeting with eating in a little place nearby Parangtritis Beach.
We had to wait for a very long time there...
I think that we had to wait for 1 or more hours.
I also took some pictures, but I haven't copied them to my computer yet.
Maybe when I have, I'll post them up in this blog?
I guess so and that is the original plan anyway.
Well, I guess that's that, goodbye, thanks and have a nice day!
